Sarah is a Provisional Psychologist with a Bachelor Psychological Science, a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced), and has recently completed a Master of Professional Psychology.
She works with adults and younger adults experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, perfectionism, self-esteem difficulties, autism (Level 1 or 2), grief and loss and adjustment to life transitions.
She supports people to develop practical strategies for coping, problem-solving and building emotional resilience. She uses a compassionate and collaborative approach, drawing on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as mindfulness-based strategies.
Sarah's warm and gentle demeanour creates a safe environment where clients can comfortably explore their thoughts and emotions. Committed to building trusting therapeutic relationships, Sarah focuses ono facilitating meaningful therapeutic progress.
Her enthusiasm for psychology is driven by a genuine desire to guide individuals to overcome personal challenges and improve their overall quality of life, particularly with life adjustments, career and academic difficulties, self esteem and stress management.
Sarah also delivers our Thrive program to groups and in individual sessions helping with a skills-based approach to managing stress and anxiety and building self-compassion.
