Medications can vary for different people and it may feel confusing knowing what to take and when.

However, medication is important as it helps you live longer and improves your quality of life.


If you’ve taken too many medications:

  • Do not drive, swim, work at heights, etc.

  • Call your doctor immediately


If you’ve forgotten to take your medications:

  • Not an emergency if it is just once

  • Take the next dose as scheduled


Side effects of medications:

  • Low blood pressure (may cause dizziness and fatigue, check in with a pharmacist, doctor or nurse)

  • Impaired kidney function, or high potassium levels (your GP should schedule blood tests for you)

Tips to remember your medications:

  • Keep them with your toothbrush

  • Store them by your bedside
